Previously, a random assortment of character skins were highlighted within the featured store tab that players could purchase. This had three major concerns:
a.) manually selecting and uploading which character skins to highlight was widely inefficient; b.) users had to deal with content that didn't resonate with them; and c.) there was a huge opportunity cost in lost revenue and conversion with the absence of user-specific content.
As the lead product manager, I led the development and testing of an ML model that provides everyone with a unique, 1-of-1 shopping experience.
